STEPHEN COLBERT

A Poem

Stephen Colbert's late night talk show is finally over

and I say good riddance

Not because of what he had to say about The Orange One

since that was another way to keep the masses distracted & divided

It's because Stephen Colbert became what he once mocked

i.e. the arrogant commentator who acted "smarter" than his audience

His supporters & "fans" claim his show is over

because he spoke truth to power

which he didn't

Instead he spoke FOR power

by being paid MILLIONS to push

whatever narrative or "agenda" his elite bosses

wanted him to push

just like his late night talk show brethren

because those who speak TRUE truth to power

don't get paid MILLIONS of dollars

to host some insipid late night talk show

No, those who speak TRUE truth to power

usually end up with their livelihoods destroyed

or they happen to meet some untimely "accident"

that barely gets reported in the "unbiased" media

Of course this won't be the last we will hear from Stephen

since he's a useful idiot for the power elite

just like his fellow late night talk show brethren

Maybe there was a time when Stephen Colbert

was considered to be mildly "dangerous"

like when he would mock presidents to their faces

and even then that was controlled opposition

like everything ELSE in our so-called society
